Demanding the entire quantum of power to be generated at Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project to the electricity-starved Tamil Nadu, Puthiya Thamizhagam cadres staged a demonstration near the KKNPP site on Monday.

Led by party's founder president K. Krishnasamy, the protestors raised slogans pressing their demand.

Dr. Krishnasamy said the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL), which had entered into a power purchase agreement on the quantum of power to be sold to Tamil Nadu, needs to revise it and sell the entire quantity of KKNPP power to the State which gave land for the mega power project.
