Periyar dam level at 119.50 ft

The level in the Periyar Dam on Tuesday stood at 119.50 Feet against the full level of 136 Ft.

Inflow was 552 cusecs, discharge was maintained at 1200 cusecs.

The Vaiga Dam level was 59.89 feet (Max71 Ft) with an inflow of 816 cusecs and discharge of 1660 cusecs.

The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending 0830 hrs in MM: Kallanthiri 14.8, Pullipatti 14, Thaniyamangalam 13.5, Melur 6 and Madurai 6.8 MM, Officials said.
