A 1991-batch of Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) Officer, Lalit Kumar Mansukhani, has assumed office as the new Additional Divisional Railway Manager-I of Madurai Railway Division here on Tuesday. He succeeds P.V. Murali Krishna.
He has done his B.Tech., in Electronics and Communications from MBM Engineering College, Jodhpur.
Prior to joining railways, he has worked in Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for four years in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh/Telangana. He was on a four-year deputation in UK Railway Signalling Design and was with Research Designs and Standards Organisation/Lucknow for five years.
He was behind design and development of indigenous cab-signalling with Automatic Train Protection System.
Prior to joining Madurai Division, he has worked as Chief Signal & Telecommunication Engineer (CSTE), Construction, South Central Railway, Secunderabad.
