Train No.17235/17236 Bengaluru-Nagercoil-Bengaluru Expresses have been temporarily augmented with one 2nd AC two tier coach.
The augmentation from Bengaluru end is effective from July 2 to July 27, and from Nagercoil end will be effective between July 3 and July 28.
Photo ID cards
Indian Railways has introduceda system to issue photo identity cards for differently-abled persons to enable them to book their tickets online through e-ticketing as well as across the counter. Persons requiring these ID cards may apply for the same in person or send the required papers by post to the Divisional Office in Chennai, Tiruchi, Madurai, Salem, Palakkad and Thiruvananthapuram.
Differently-abled persons are requested to apply only to the office of the nearest Senior Divisional Commercial Manager in the cities mentioned above. Those who have applied more than a month back and have not got their ID cards yet may also contact the respective Divisional Officer to collect the same, a statement said.
