Vehicle-users passing Sellur railway crossing will have to wait for more time to make use of sub-way for an uninterrupted flow of traffic. For, the approach roads for the sub-way, already completed by the railways, could be laid only after vehicles are diverted to the nearby road over-bridge under construction.

The railways have completed the 200-feet-long sub-way under the two broad gauge lines on the Madurai-Dindigul section. Laying of approach roads by the State Highways would put the sub-way to use. “The Madurai-Dindigul Road has to be cut open to the sub-way level to provide the approach roads.”
