Physically challenged people observing a fast at Kalavasal on Thursday in support of Madurai Kamaraj University student Eswari Pandaranayaka.
Students of Madurai Kamaraj University on Thursday shifted their protest venue from Nagamalai hills behind the university campus to a nearby hillock at K. Puliyangulam.
In the meantime, members of Tamil Nadu Association for the Rights of All Types of Differently Abled and Caregivers observed a one-day token fast at Kalavasal here seeking revocation of punitive action taken against a physically challenged post-doctoral fellow Eswari Pandaranayaka.
