A 64-year-old man from Madhya Pradesh, who went missing in Dindigul on July 17, was traced to Mattuthavani Integrated Bus Stand in Madurai on Friday.

S. Govind Singh Pawar (64) was travelling in a special train arranged by Madhya Pradesh government for pilgrims visiting Rameswaram. On July 17, during his journey back to Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Pawar got off the train to take a stroll when the train had halted for signal at Vellianai near Dindigul.

He missed the train. Other passengers, who noticed his absence, lodged a complaint with the Dindigul Railway Police and continued their journey.

The Madhya Pradesh police had registered a case based on a complaint lodged by his family members at Hanumantiya Panwar village in Neemuch district.
