The Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED) here will provide free skill development training to 125 candidates during 2010-11, with support from the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises.
According to a CED press release, a two-week general entrepreneurship development programme of six days per week will be offered to 50 candidates. An eight-week skill development-cum-entrepreneurship development programme will be conducted for five days a week. This will include programme in computer hardware maintenance (25 persons) and fashion design and garment making for urban and rural entrepreneurs (25 persons each).
The skill development and entrepreneurship development programmes will be conducted during April-June. Men and women in the age group of 18 to 40 years can submit their applications for the programmes on or before April 20.
