Establish fast-track courts for corruption cases, urges People’s Anti-corruption Movement

The People’s Anti-corruption Movement here has urged the Centre to establish special fast-track courts in all the states to deal with corruption cases.

The annual general body meeting of the People’s Anti-corruption Movement was held at Gandhi Memorial Museum here recently and around 10 resolutions were passed said a press release from the secretary of the movement.

The central government should pass the Lokpal act without further delay, alter the legal provisions to punish the corrupt severely, make CBI an independent body, form committees to avoid water disputes between the states and improve food storage infrastructure, said the resolutions.
