Erasing of wall paintings; one more case filed in High Court

One more writ petition has been filed in the Madras High Court Bench in Madurai alleging bias and discrimination on the part of government officials in erasing wall paintings and removing hoardings put up by the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam cadres in the city in view of their leaders’ birthdays.

K. Kubendran, convenor of Madurai Town Advocates wing of DMK had filed the latest petition.

K.A. Nandagopan, organiser of Madurai district advocates wing of DMK, had already filed a similar writ petition.
