EFLU scholar from Tamil Nadu ends life in Hyderabad

A research scholar of t he English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Mohiuddin, has committed suicide on Thursday, police said. The body of the 29-year-old scholar was found hanging from the ceiling in a mosque outside the university campus at Tarnaka.

He hails from a village near Madurai in Tamil Nadu.

He was provided accommodation in the mosque where a Prof of EFLU, Jahangir, was operating an Arabic school. Mohiuddin had already submitted his thesis and viva was to be held today.

Police found a suicide note written in Tamil which claimed that he was depressed and ending his life. The letter purportedly written by Mohiuddin Aldo said none was responsible for his death.
