Lady Doak College here is hosting a two-day conference on ‘Competence building in higher education - trends and challenges' from September 30.

E. Balagurusamy, Member (Education), State Planning Commission, and S. Sivaram, former Director, National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, are among the resource persons. A. Mercy Pushpalatha, Principal, told reporters on Tuesday that papers would be presented on the topics of student-teacher integration, teaching autonomy and accountability, public-private partnership, student employability and sustainability in higher education.
