Drawing contest for school students on November 27

Sterlite Copper will organise a drawing competition for students of standards V to XII from Tuticorin district on November 27 at The Vikasa School in Millerpuram here.

An official statement said the topic for the students from standards V to VIII is ‘My dream' while ‘Conserve forests' will be the theme for students from standards VIII to X. For XI and XII standard students, the topic is ‘Education for all.'

Students should bring their own drawing materials for the competition, which will start at 10 a.m. for students from 5th standard to 8th standard while the competition will start at 3 p.m. for others.

Candidates should reach the venue 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the competition.

Cash prizes ranging from Rs. 2,000 to 10,000 will be given for the top three winners in each group and consolation prize of Rs. 1,000 will be given to ten students in each category.

Interested students can nominate themselves through their respective schools by sending the filled-in registration forms to Public Relations Department, Sterlite Copper, Madurai Bypass Road, SIPCOT Complex, Tuticorin or by sending a mail to sterlite.colours@gmail.com through their school email id on or before November 22.
