The three-day Auto Fair organised here by The Tamilnad Motor Parts Dealers’ Association, attracting thousands of people from Madurai and surrounding regions, came to an end on Monday.

Organizers said that the reception for the fair was far better than what they had expected.

“Many customers and mechanics had come from Ramanathapuram, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar, Theni and other places. They all felt that they had gained something from the expo,” said E. Sidharthan, one of the organizing committee members.

“Huge effort had gone into organizing the expo with more than 150 stalls, particularly with the decision to set up air-conditioned stalls, and we feel satisfied that the effort was fruitful,” he also added.

The stall set up TVS Tyres, displaying their two-wheeler, three-wheeler and off road tyres, was adjudged the best stall of the expo and was presented an award during the valedictory function on Monday.

K.A. Chithambaram, President of the association, presided over the valedictory function in the presence of P. Vijayaraghavan, Director of TVS Tyres.

Mr. Vijayaraghavan said that TVS Tyres was proud to be one of the co-sponsors of the fair, which provided a platform to bring together the industry, retailers, mechanics and general public.

“Not only the TVS group of companies, but many other leading companies like BOSCH and Anand Group had come together to make the expo a grand success,” he said.
