UP IN ARMS: CPI members staging a demonstration at Vallioor in Tirunelvelidistrict, condemning the killing of Sathish Kumar.

While urging the government to initiate stringent action against illicit sand miners who murdered E. Sathish Kumar when he tried to prevent the illegal activity, Communist Party of India leader R. Nallakannu has appealed to Chief Minister Jayalalithaa to give an ex gratia of Rs. 10 lakh to the bereaved family. He was addressing a demonstration held at Valliyoor on Monday.

Meets victim's father

Earlier Mr. Nallakannu met Sathish Kumar's father Esthaak Vincent at Mittaadhaarkulam.
