All cable television operators would come under one umbrella after enrolling in the Arasu Cable Television Corporation.

Pay channels would also be tuned in for relay through the government cable network in a phased manner. As many as 105 pay channels were available and the end users would be able to view it in the days to come. Advanced technology was being adopted to telecast quality video and audio, he added.

After inspecting the control room at the relay station, he also stepped into a residence at Bryant Nagar and enquired about the subscription collected every month.
