The Airports Authority of India cautioned job aspirants against falling prey to fraudulent advertisements promising jobs in AAI.

In a statement, Madurai Airport Director, V.V. Rao, said that desperate candidates were reaching out to AAI with complaints ranging from fake vacancy advertisements to fraudulent appointment letters for which they had paid money.

Fraudulent recruitment advertisements and job offers are being made by some unscrupulous elements forging Airports Authority of India’s name/logo and trying to deceive the general public.

AAI clarifies that it has not authorised any agency or website to either advertise job vacancies or to accept any application for recruitment for AAI’s vacancies.

All the vacancies and recruitment in AAI are notified on AAI’s website, Employment News/Rojgar Samachar and leading newspapers. Link to apply for AAI vacancies is available only on AAI’s official website www.aai.aero and not on any other website. Only application fee is payable at the time of online registration and no other payments are sought at any stages of recruitment.

Airports Authority of India will bear no responsibility for any loss or damage caused by any such unscrupulous elements, Mr. Rao said.
