Call to NCC cadets

A call to National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets to bring laurels to the region in the Republic Day competitions to be held in New Delhi was given by Commodore Sartaj Imam, Deputy Director General, on Saturday.

Addressing the cadets from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands, who are participating in the annual training camp, at the Yadava College here, Commodore Sartaj said that the cadets could win the top position in the competitions through sincerity, involvement, commitment and dedication. Cadets for this year's competitions will be selected at the camp.

The DDG held discussions with the Group Commander, Col. P. Venugopal, and other NCC officers, according to a press release from Lt. Col. S. S. Chauhan, Camp Commandant.
