Certificates and cash awards were presented to 251 employees in recognition of their service by R. Seshasayee, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland, at the 133rd birth anniversary celebration of T. V. Sundaram Iyengar, founder of TVS Group of companies, here on Tuesday.
Louis Xavier, general secretary, TVS Workers’ Union, presided over the celebration. R. Dinesh, Joint Managing Director, TVS and Sons, addressed the workers and their families. S. Sivanandi, treasurer of the union, welcomed the gathering and T. Murugesan proposed a vote of thanks. R. Haresh, Joint Managing Director, TVS and Sons, R. Naresh, Joint Managing Director, Sundaram Industries, and Shobana Ramachandran, Managing Director, TVS Srichakra, were present on the occasion, according to a press release.
