Assembly panel to visit Madurai

The Committee on Petitions of the Tamil Nadu Assembly is to visit Madurai district shortly.

According to an official press release, individuals, associations and institutions can send their petitions for redressal of public grievances to the Chairman, Committee on Petitions, Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Chennai 600 009 before August 13.

Petitions may relate to public grievances pending disposal before government departments for years,

Such petitions should not relate to individual or private grievances; matters pending before any court of law or tribunal; employment or assignment of pattas; old age pension; bank or employment loan or request for transfer or redressal of grievances of government servants.
