17 skaters taking part in Indian team camp under way in Tiruchi

Seventeen skaters, who have been selected to represent India in the world roller skating artistic championship later this year, are participating in the Indian team camp currently on at the indoor stadium in National College here. The camp is hosted by Tamil Nadu Roller Skating Association in association with Tiruchi Regional Roller Skating Association and National College. It was inaugurated by Ravi Murugiah, chairman, Vasan Estates, on Tuesday in the presence of K. Raghunathan, secretary, National College. International medallists, including Arjuna award winner Anup Kumar Yama are taking part in the camp, which is on till June 18. The second camp will be held at Visakhapatnam in July and the final camp at Chandigarh in August. A special show on artistic skating enthralled spectators on Thursday.
