Two killed in Madurai road accident

Two persons riding a two-wheeler were killed in a road accident on the Madurai Bypass road in Madurai on Monday night. According to eyewitnesses, a loud noise was heard and a person fell down from the four-lane highway on the service road underneath. The two-wheeler could have been hit by a vehicle, police said.

One of the deceased has been identified as M. Marikumar (35) of Mullipallam near Sholavandan in Madurai district. The vehicle was going towards Madurai.
