Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL)-Madurai is offering several training courses for students of 10th standard, graduates and postgraduates.
A week-long course on introducing Information Technology and Data Communication has been tailored for Tenth and Plus Two students, General Manager S.E. Rajam said in a statement.In-plant training for engineering students of colleges and polythechnic colleges were offered for a week with theory and practical classes covering topics such as ‘Introduction to Telecommunication,' ‘Growth of telecom technology,' landline, broadband services, servers, WLL technology, batter and power plants, cell-technology and Wi-Max. Besides, students of BE, MBA, B.Sc. and B.Com could do their projects under various topics available with the BSNL or on their own topics under the expert guidance of BSNL officers.
Advanced level computer courses were conducted by Oracle-certified engineers on various languages. Certificates for all the courses were given by BSNL. Ms. Rajam said that the course schedule was flexible with whole-day and only morning sessions to suit the requirement of various students.
