Appeal to take part in gram sabha

Students of Government Kallar Reclamation School at Chennamanaickenpatti took out a massive cycle rally in Chettinayakanpatti panchayat on Saturday in order to create awareness on gram sabha.

They appealed to the rural people to take part in gram sabhas scheduled to be held on August 15 without fail and help the panchayat in taking important decisions on various programmes.

The cycle rally covered Kallipatti, Chennamanaickenpatti and also nearby villages.

The gram sabha will discuss special schemes meant for villages, Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, programmes for differently abled persons and other important development work to be taken up in future.
