AAP stages protest in Madurai against arrest

Around 20 members of the Aam Aadmi Party staged a demonstration near the Thiruvalluvar Statue in front of the Collectorate on Thursday in protest against the arrest of their leader Arvind Kejriwal.

They alleged that Mr. Kejriwal had been wrongfully imprisoned for questioning the corrupt practices of politician Nitin Gadkari.

M. Kamacis, who was the party’s candidate for the Lok Sabha polls, said.
