932 students receive graduation certificates

A total of 932 students received their certificates at the graduation ceremony of the Mepco Schlenk College of Engineering at Sivakasi in Virudhunagar district on Saturday.

Chief Guest Kumar Vembu, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Geofrugal Technologies and Co Founder of Zoho Chennai gave away the certificates to 631 undergraduates, 293 postgraduates and 8 doctorate scholars.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kumar Vembu told the students that it was what they did every single day which would contribute to shaping their future and what they learnt and became in life.

“While we have a lot of clarity during our time as a student, you will be put to test every single day as a professional in the world and should learn to judge your own performance effectively. A lot of the learning should happen through experiences,” he said.

Mr. Kumar Vembu urged the graduates to work to their best ability to meet expectations which will help them lead a successful and happy life.

Correspondent of the college A. Tenzing presided over the function and Principal S. Arivazhagan addressed the ceremony.
