July 14, 2013 11:36 pm | Updated 11:36 pm IST - Kochi:

Afzal Raj, 24, of Kaloor, was held from the Nedumbassery airport here on charge of impersonation. He was arrested for walking around the airport wearing a purdah. Nedumbassery police said Afzal had dressed up in a purdah to play a prank on his friend, who was arriving in a flight from the Gulf.

The young man walking around in the completely covered garment, which he reportedly borrowed from his sister, caught the attention of police officials stationed at the airport. They promptly picked him up and questioned him, before charging him with impersonation.
