A petition was filed in the Kerala High Court on Wednesday seeking a directive to the State government to produce the inquiry report of S. Sreejith, DGP, attached earlier to the State Human Rights Commission into the allegation that the blood samples collected from Cholanaikkar tribes had been illegally sent to a foreign pharmacy for a study.

The petition was filed by P.D. Joseph of Thirssur. According to him, the DGP was appointed by the commission to inquire into the allegation of collecting blood sample for a study to find out how the Cholanaikkar tribes were surviving without food and medicines.
