Workshop on cyber security for women in Kochi

The seminar is expected to draw about 150 women from the fields of cyber security and hacking.

Experts on cyber security and ethical hacking will address participants at a special workshop for women, by women, being organised by the Kerala Police on Thursday. The seminar is expected to draw about 150 women from the fields of cyber security and hacking. National and international experts from IT companies, cyber security firms, and senior police officers from the State will address the participants and take part in the workshop.

The workshop will include sessions on cyber security, ethical hacking, footprinting and recon, network scanning, exploitation using metasploit, and web application security among others. An overview on ‘security as a career’ will also be held.
