WHAT THE SEE THREW UP

August 02, 2013 12:50 am | Updated 12:50 am IST

The carcass of an almost 25-ft-long whale was found washed ashore at Pazhangad beach in Edavanakkadu near Kochi on Thursday morning. Fire and Rescue personnel who reached the spot gave up efforts to shift the carcass, as their crane was not strong enough for the purpose. They are likely to resume their efforts with a bigger crane on Friday morning. — PHOTO: BY SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT
