At least seven vehicles, including two trucks, were damaged in three separate accidents in the city reported in the early hours of Tuesday.
In the first incident, a truck fell over a car and a couple of two-wheelers parked near the ROB in South Kalamassery. The accident took place around 2 a.m. when the truck driver lost control over the vehicle while passing under the ROB. The truck’s roof hit the concrete beam of the bridge. The driver of the truck escaped unhurt.
In the second incident, a speeding truck rammed the side rail of the flyover at Edappally Junction.
In the third incident, a truck rammed a two-wheeler on Container Road, near Cheranallore Junction. The bike rider sustained injuries in the impact of the collision and was admitted to a nearby hospital.
