Traffic regulations on MG Road, North bridge

The City Police will impose traffic regulations from Friday 11 p.m. to Sunday 11 p.m. in connection with the preparatory works of Kochi Metro project being carried out at the eastern side near City Hospital on M.G. Road.

Private vehicles proceeding to M.G. Road-Jos Junction from Madhava Pharmacy should take Chittoor Road; service buses from Kacherippady towards Thevara and Vyttila should take Chittoor Road and reach Rajaji Junction to enter M.G. Road.

Similarly, light motor vehicles from Madhava Pharmacy junction can take Veekshanam Road to enter Chittoor Road-Rajaji Junction and proceed via M.G. Road. Traffic will be allowed from KPCC Junction to Madhava Pharmacy via M.G. Road. Traffic will not be permitted from Iyattumukku up to Veekshanam Road Junction in Chittoor Road southern end.

Complete ban

Traffic will be completely banned North Railway over bridge from Friday 10 p.m. to 5.30 a.m. on Saturday. Vehicles can enter the city by A..L. Jacob Railway overbridge or Pulleppady Railway overbridge, says a communication from the Assistant Police Commissioner, Traffic West.
