Traffic regulations in Aluva from today

On the lines of Swaraj Round in Thrissur

KOCHI: The Kerala Road Safety Authority has decided to implement one-way traffic regulation in Aluva from Monday on the lines of that followed at Swaraj Round in Thrissur.

Light vehicles and KSRTC buses from Thottakattukara entering Aluva must use Bank Junction, Pump Junction, Railway Square, KSRTC Stand, THQ Junction, and Karothukuzhy route. North-bound vehicles must use the corridor beneath Market Bridge, while those going south must use the stretch through Pulinchodu.

KSRTC buses from Ernakulam must use the private bus stand, Bank Junction, Pump Junction, Matha, Zeenath, Railway Square, and Karothukuzhy corridor. KSRTC buses from the bypass bound for Kothamangalam must enter the KSRTC stand through Pump Junction and Railway Square and leave through Karothukuzhy and Matha.

Vehicles from Perumbavoor must take left turn from Matha and proceed through Seenath, Railway Square and Karothukuzhy. Goods vehicles from Pulinchodu will not be permitted through Karothukuzhy, DPO Junction, Railway Square, and Seenath stretch.

Private buses from the bypass must reach the stand through Bank Junction, Pump Junction, Matha, Zeenath, and Karothukuzhy Junction.

Heavy vehicles from Ernakulam and Angamaly must use the bypass, Bank Junction, Pump Junction, Matha Junction stretch and return through Seenath and DPO Junction. Vehicles will not be allowed from Pump Junction and Palace Road to the bypass.
