Traffic regulation on North overbridge

Traffic along the north overbridge will be restricted between 11 p.m. on Wednesday and 4.00 a.m. on Thursday as part of the ongoing construction work of metro rail project, said an official press release issued by the office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Traffic (East).

Heavy vehicles coming from Kaloor and Edappally sides and proceeding towards the city should turn left from Kaloor Junction and take Kaloor-Kathrikadavu Road to reach South Overbridge and light motor vehicles can enter the M.G. Road from Kaloor-Kathrikadavu Road using Pullepady Bridge.

Heavy vehicles from Ernakulam and M.G. Road going towards Edapally side should turn left from Madhava Pharmacy Junction to reach High Court Junction and then take C.T. Road to proceed with their journey.

Light motor vehicles can either turn left from Kacheripady Junction to take Pachalam-Pottakuzhy route or turn right from Madhava Pharmacy Junction to take Pullepady Bridge to reach Kaloor.

KSRTC buses should take Kaloor-Kathrikadavu-South Overbridge route to enter and leave the city, the press release said.
