Three students held with narcotics near Kadavanthra

: The Excise Enforcement and Anti-Narcotics special squad held three college students for allegedly possessing narcotics such as LSD, hashish, ganja, and nitrozepam on Sunday.

Jobin Lazar, Nithin Varghese, and John Jacob, all of them final year B.Tech. students from a college in Coimbatore, were detained during a raid by the department near Kadavanthra.

Excise officials said one of the students had been previously suspended from college for possession of ganja. Binu from Edappally, who allegedly bought the LSD from Goa and sold it to the students, was also held.
