Three more persons were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the murder of ‘Mortuary’ Shameer, who was hacked to death by a gang of 13 people, that forcefully entered his house in the wee hours of last Thursday.
The accused were identified as Nishal, 32, Simon, 33, and Manoj, 40, all residents of Palarivattom. The accused were taken into custody from near Oberon Mall. The hunt for others was on, the police said.
Two persons – P.V. Gabriel, 53, and K.M. Prasad, 54, had been arrested earlier in the case.
