Three held on charge of ganja peddling

KOCHI: Three persons were arrested on charge of possessing and selling ganja in separate incidents on Wednesday.

In the morning, the Excise department arrested two persons and seized over 40 packets of ganja from their possession. While Sulaiman (59), a native of Malippuram, was held from High Court Junction premises, Joji John (21) was taken into custody from the premises of the Ernakulam North railway station.

Later in the day, the Aluva East Police arrested one Justin Joy (24), a resident of Thrikkakara, from the Aluva railway station for possessing ganja.
