The woman who raised allegations of sexual assault against MLA Jose Thettayil has filed a fresh complaint alleging that senior politicians were responsible for leaking video footage that accompanied her complaint to the media.

So the complaint has been forwarded to Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief S. Sateesh Bino,” Commissioner James said. The woman reportedly alleged in the complaint that the video that accompanied her original complaint against the MLA was leaked to the media at the behest of the Chief Minister and two other MLAs. She alleged that the video was leaked to distract the public from the solar scam. She further alleged that two Thrissur natives had taken Rs.10 lakh from her promising that they would fashe would be married to Mr. Thettayil’s son.The Supreme Court had earlier rejected the woman’s original complaint accusing the MLA of sexual harassment.
