TCC unit for rocket fuel ingredient launched

The government will extend help to set up a new caustic soda plant at Travancore Cochin Chemicals Limited. Industries Minister P.K.Kunhalikutty said he hoped to get Rs.50 crore for the project released from the Finance Ministry soon. The minister was inaugurating the sodium chlorate plant set up by TCC on its premises at Udyogamandal here, in collaboration with Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre.

Pointing out that TCC and a host of other industries were inter-dependent, he promised support to the unit.
