State’s first haemophilia care centre at Aluva

The foundation stone for the first Comprehensive Haemophilia Care Centre in Kerala will be laid at Aluva on Wednesday — World Haemophilia Day.

The centre will be the third of its kind in the country after centres at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and St. John’s Hospital, Bangalore.

District panchayat president Eldose Kunnappilly said the panchayat would take up the Rs.1-crore project to complete it in a time-bound manner.
