Rs.100-cr. business at B2B meet

Buyers, sellers interact at conference

The Kerala Business-to-Business (B2B) Meet for small and medium enterprises (SME) came to an end on Saturday. Over 5,000 pre-fixed buyer-seller meets were held as part of the three-day meet.

The meet helped small-scale manufacturers showcase unique products of the State before the international buyers. Representatives of SMEs from the State received confirmed orders worth Rs.100 crore, through the buyer-seller meetings. In addition, they also received enquiries for Rs.150 crore.

The meet was attended by 336 buyers out of which 74 were from abroad. There were 150 sellers. Seven sectors of industry — food processing (food and spices), handlooms, textiles and garments, rubber, wood-based industries, Ayurveda and herbal, electrical and electronics and traditional sector – were showcased at the meet, the release said. — Special Correspondent
