Power supply will be affected in the following areas on Tuesday between 9 and 5 p.m.: Thoppumpady section — MN Pacho Road, ESI Road, K.V. Thomas Lane, Industrial Estate, Palluruthy Nada and nearby areas; Panangad section — Panagad Jantha to South end; Vennala section — Chalikkavattom, Vayanasala, Chakkaraparambu, Kaniyaveli and neighbouring regions; Girinagar section: Kallupalam, Amalabhavan, Neptune Country Road, Bund Road and nearby areas; Palarivattom section — Mamangalam Junction, Anjumana, Edappally High School premises, Kannanthodathu Road and nearby areas; Tripunithura section: Kaniyaveli, Ayurveda Hospital, Mekkara and neighbouring regions; Central section: TD Road up to Kavitha; and Thrikkakara section — Dayabhavan, Mavelipurama and nearby areas.

Documentary on

V.R. Krishna Iyer

Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court Ashok Bhushan will release Ithihasam Ee Jeevitham , a documentary on the late V.R. Krishna Iyer by handing over the first copy to Rose Varghese, the Vice Chancellor of National University of Advanced Legal Studies, at a function to be held at the High Court auditorium at 4.40 p.m. on Tuesday. Produced by the Sarada Krishna Satgamaya Foundation for Law and Justice, the documentary is written and directed by K.V. Prakash, a lawyer at the High Court.

Traffic ban

Traffic on the P.J. Antony Road in Palarivattom will be banned from 6 a.m. on Tuesday in view of the road improvement work being undertaken as part of the Kochi metro rail project. Commuters have been requested to use cross roads and parallel roads in the area, according to a press release from the Kochi Metro Rail Limited.
