Port officers' protest

Officers of Cochin Port Trust observed a day of fast on Wednesday protesting against the delay in revision of their salaries.

The protest was part of an all-India protest programme by port officers from Monday.

The protesting officers came together for a meeting before the Port administrative office in the afternoon.

The meeting was addressed by General Secretary of All India Port and Dock Workers' Federation P. M. Mohammed Haneef, said.
