Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that government offices too must join the efforts to create a culture of organic vegetable farming. It is part of the overall effort to make safe vegetables. Government offices can become models for the general public through these efforts, he said while inaugurating the harvest of vegetables cultivated at the Mulavukadu police station on Sunday.

The Chief Minister said that efforts by the State had resulted in Kerala being able to produce substantial quantities of organic vegetables during the last Onam season.

S. Sarma, MLA, presided over the programme. Former MP P. Rajeev and City Police Commissioner M.P. Dinesh were among those present.
