Murali hopeful of re-entry into Congress

The former KPCC president K. Muraleedharan hoped that he would be re-admitted into the Congress after March 8.

He was inaugurating a youth convention organised by the Priyadarshini Youth Centre here on Monday. Mr. Muraleedharan said he and his supporters would back the UDF in the local body polls and ensure the defeat of the Left Democratic Front.

Though the party workers wished to contest the election on the hand symbol of the party, it would not be possible as they were now out of the organisation. He hinted that some of his supporters would be fielded as independents in the election. T.Y. Shihabudheen, chairman of the centre, presided.
