Main accused in lecturer attack case nabbed

The investigating team probing the attack on the Thodupuzha Newman College lecturer T. J. Joseph on July 4 at Muvattupuzha has arrested one of the key suspects, K. K. Ali of Kothamangalam, from Pollachi on Monday morning. He was among those named in the lookout notice given by the police since the incident when a few people had attacked Prof. Joseph and severed his hand.

According to the Muvattupuzha police, the suspect would be produced before the Kothamangalam first class magistrate by evening.
