A. Krishna Kumar, managing director and group executive (NBG), State Bank of India, inaugurated its new loan processing centre at Aluva on Thursday, for quick processing of the credit requirements in respect of retail and small and medium enterprises sector loans. Nineteen branches situated in the area are linked to the new processing centre.
Mr. Krishnakumar also inaugurated an exclusive account opening counter for opening Savings Bank accounts at any of the SBI branches in Ernakulam district. ‘Sona Ghar', a counter for selling 24-carat gold coins, was also inaugurated.
V. Murali, chief general manager; Arun Kumar Agarwal, general manager, Kerala Circle; Baijayanta Chakraborty, deputy general manager (B&O), Administrative Office, Kochi, were present.
