LDF councillors have begun a search for abandoned and unused vehicles of the Kochi Corporation. CPI(M) leader C.K. Manishankar flagged off the vehicle hunt from the corporation office.

K.J. Antony, leader of the CPI(M) in the council; Poornima Narayan, chairperson of the education standing committee; CPI leader C.A. Shakkeer; Congress (S) leader E.K. Muralidharan Master, and councillors Benedict Fernandez, K.J. Basel, and O.P. Sunil were present.

The LDF team will visit various yards and workshops in the city to locate the vehicles. Meanwhile, CPI(M) councillor V.P Chandran alleged that the civic administrators, who were reluctant to repair the vehicles, had been spending huge amounts for hiring vehicles from private agencies.
