KWA revenue adalat in March

: Kerala Water Authority will hold the Water Revenue Adalat for the district in March. Consumers from Kochi Corporation, Cheranalloor, Mulavukad, Kadamakkudy, Chellanam and Kumbalangi panchayats can submit complaints till February 28. The date of the adalat will be notified later.

The complaints written on white paper can be sent to the respective sub-division offices where the consumers remit their water charges. Applications should contain consumer number and phone number of the complainants. If the complainant is not the person against whom the water connection is provided, then the reasons should be explained.

The consumer should also provide an identity proof with photo.

The press release issued by Executive Engineer, PH Division, KWA, said that the adalat will take up issues such as excess charges for unnoticeable leakage in supply pipelines, one time settlement scheme for non-domestic consumers, water charges and surcharges for the period when the water meter was not functional and any other issue related to water connection. Any complaint given earlier will not be considered.
