‘Kshitij’, the popular techno-management festival held on IIT Kharagpur campus every year, is all set to welcome students from across the country in its latest edition to be held from January 31 to February 2.

IITians will visit select management and engineering campuses in the city to invite students here to participate in the techno-management fest.

“Since its inception in 2004, Kshitij has grown exponentially to become the Asia’s largest techno-management fest.

More than 65,000 students from 1,400 colleges of India last year had participated in the last edition,” said C. Jacob Tomy, a first year student of Computer Science at IIT Kharagpur.

The youngster, who will be visiting School of Management Studies at Cochin University of Science and Technology and Model Engineering College at Thrikkakara to popularise the fest, pointed out that students from Kerala participate in good numbers in the online events of Kshitij.

This edition of the programme will have new events based on case study analysis, financial planning and latest innovative technologies. Apart from the submission events, two online events that include Woodstock and forex have been launched.

More details about the event can be had from www.ktj.in.
